Crossfit In Freeport Bahamas
All beginners to CrossFit must start in our Fundamentals program. You will do 6 classes over 2 weeks in a small group setting. The focus of the 2 week course is to understand the principles, form and technique of the basic functional compound movements.
During the 2 week program, we will teach you all the fundamental movements needed to safely and effectively perform a WOD (Workout of the Day). Our Fundamentals program is designed to go over each movement in a slower and more detail oriented pace than a normal CrossFit class. This allows for more instructional time and more personal attention by coaches.
Once the Fundamentals program is completed and you have demonstrated that you are ready for a full-intensity CrossFit class, you will receive a certificate of accomplishment!

A typical class looks like this:
(2-5 minutes) Name Game
(5- 25 minutes) Warm up
(5-20 minutes) Skill/Strength
(1-45 minutes) WOD
(5-15 minutes) Cool/Stretch/ Positive Message
What to Expect?
Expect to learn! No matter what your fitness level and understanding of CrossFit, you should expect to learn and have a tough, but short workout that might give you a little reality check on your fitness level. Expect to see a lot of smiling faces, who will likely approach you and ask your name.
Tip: Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes – and gloves if you have any. Bringing water and a towel is also a good idea.
